This policy describes how TG möbler AB (hereinafter also referred to as “we”, “our”, “ours” and “us”), at Ulaxgatan 5, Motala 591 32 (corp. no. 559096-4309), processes your personal data.

Privacy and secure personal data management have always been important to us, and we hope you feel safe when you visit or shop with us. We try to collect as little personal data as possible, but some is still required in order for us to be able to properly fulfill our commitments to you - and offer the best support and service possible.

Our procedures for processing the personal data we receive in connection with ordering, contact, etc. are described below - including your rights as a customer, and other things that may be important to know. We have worked hard to meet the requirements introduced by GDPR, and reviewed our security and systems - both internal and external - with this in mind.

This policy may change as we adapt to future legislation or implement changes to the website or customer system. We will contact you as a customer via email if there are any major changes that affect you, but you are welcome to visit this page directly and stay updated. The latest version should always be available here.

  1. Personal information

We store the following personal data about our customers:

Customers : First name, Last name, Company/organization, Email, Corporate ID, VAT number, Address, Postal code, City, Country, Telephone number, Registration number (for vehicles) and any alternative delivery address.

Orders : IP address, E-mail, Corporate ID number, VAT number, Company, First name, Last name, Address, Postal code, City, Country, Telephone number, Registration number (for vehicles) and other optional information provided by the customer in connection with the order.

Payments : When paying with Klarna, your Social Security number is also entered.

Card information, account information and similar sensitive data are not saved.

We save customer and order information for five years. This is to comply with the Accounting Act, to make it easier for you and us with future purchases and for any warranty matters and disputes that may arise. As a corporate customer, you can obtain an account by contacting us, which will then be kept for as long as you wish. You can cancel your account at any time - in which case all personal information there will be deleted if no commitments with us remain.

  1. Assistants/Partners

In order to offer the best possible services, we cooperate with some other companies who in some cases also handle your information. The following parties handle parts of the information above, including:

Payment : In addition to our own invoices and the possibility of paying in cash, we also provide payment via Payson, Swish, and Klarna. Card and account details are not saved, but personal data may be temporarily stored with Klarna or Payson to, for example, enforce payments if there are problems (when payment is not made immediately). Their policy applies to this processing, which you can find here: https://www.klarna.com/se/dataskydd/ or See also their terms of use and data protection policy .

With Payson, Swish, their services are used only to process the payment, and all of them do not store data beyond what is necessary. We are only responsible for your information with them in connection with payment, and all of them have their own terms and conditions that you need to accept before the payment can be made. With payment via Swish, your phone number is also saved in our bank statement.

Delivery : Our packages are usually sent with PostNord, Schenker, DSV, DHL or UPS. Name and address, and possibly contact information such as telephone, are provided for the completion of delivery. This information is stored for a maximum of six months with our transport organizer.

Review : We use Reco to provide a review function for and from our customers, and may transfer your personal data to them (Name, Mobile number and/or Email address) in connection with a completed order. Contact information is saved with them for one year to prevent misuse - reviews written, however, remain indefinitely. You can read their policy here: https://www.reco.se/info/terms

Storage: We use reliable web hosting with our own server halls in Sweden to store most of our data, and to some extent in a secure location outside the EU/EEA. All services and web hosting have implemented comprehensive changes to meet GDPR requirements for secure storage and handling of personal data.

Crime : If an authority requires it in the event of a suspected crime, we may be forced to disclose personal data. Authorities - and also some companies - are independent data controllers, but they are obliged to inform you if any processing is taking place, and to ensure that it is both legal and secure.

We have a data processing agreement with all partners we work with who in any way actively share your personal data. They may only process transferred data on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions. We only transfer information when necessary to fulfill our obligations to you, or for security and accounting purposes. All information stored for accounting and similar purposes is depersonalized or deleted as the aforementioned storage periods pass.

We will never - without your express consent - disclose your personal information to any third party for direct marketing, or for purposes other than those described above.

  1. Contact/Chat/Support

When using the contact form, your Name, Email Address, Phone Number (optional) and your Message are sent to us via email. We retain this information and the conversation that follows only for as long as necessary to handle your case, at most 2 years after the case has been closed - usually significantly shorter. Important information relating to, for example, warranty cases or ongoing purchases may be transferred to our other systems and then stored according to the times above.

When using our chat, your IP address, name and email (if you provide them), as well as the conversation you have with us, are stored. We save this information to make it easier for you in future matters. To start a chat, you must agree to this; also to send information via the form that appears when the chat is closed.

When contacting us by phone or in person, no information about you is automatically saved. Any notes made during the call are disposed of as soon as the call or matter has ended - or are entered into secure systems if they concern something ongoing, such as warranty matters or ongoing purchases.

  1. Marketing/Profiling

As a corporate customer, you can opt-in to our newsletter. We will then occasionally send you relevant offers via email. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of these newsletters, or by contacting us. These newsletters will continue until you choose to unsubscribe.

We may also contact you as both a business and private customer to ask if you would like to leave a review after completing your order. This is completely voluntary, and you will only be contacted once, even if you place multiple orders.

We do not collect any further information about you through these mailings. Nor do we perform any form of automated decision-making based on your personal data, profiling or the like.

  1. Statistics

We collect some information about all visitors for statistical purposes. This includes, where possible, which country you visit us from, which product pages and the like you visit, whether you make a purchase, browser information, operating system, where you were before and how long you stay on our site.

This information is completely anonymous and in no way linked to your personal data, and is stored indefinitely to give us an overview of our development and to help us develop our products and services. As it is not linked to any personal data, it cannot be used for profiling or similar purposes.

Our statistics are collected partly via server-based software, but also via Google Analytics. You can read their privacy policy here: https://www.google.com/privacypolicy.html

  1. Security

We try to keep our systems as secure as possible. All order and customer information is currently stored on servers within the EU which are continuously monitored and scanned - both automatically and manually - for any errors or security flaws. Internal communication and use of these is fully encrypted.

Our customer support and statistics are stored to some extent in the USA, with Privacy Shield-certified parties that meet EU security requirements. Communication via chat is encrypted with 256-bit SSL, and uses several TLS protocols. Our email also uses SSL/TLS; as do all of our partners' systems. All payment information is encrypted. We are working to have SSL as standard on all pages.

To protect your personal data, only personnel whose work tasks affect this data have access to it, and everyone is informed about the importance of good IT security even at the local level.

In the event that personal data is nevertheless leaked or falls into the wrong hands, we will notify you as soon as we know about this, but of course we hope that our preventive measures will prevent this from ever happening.

Regarding login information, you are responsible for keeping it confidential and for using a strong password. Also, be careful not to share your login details with others. We will never ask you for your password over the phone or in any other way. If you forget your password, you can use the 'Forgot password' function on the login page. Since passwords are stored in encrypted form, we cannot send you your current one, but you will receive a link via email that can be used to create a new one.

We are also not responsible for the content or privacy of any websites we may link to.

  1. Rights

As a customer, you have the right to be informed how and which of your personal data we process and store (hopefully we have made this easy to understand above), and also the right to receive an extract of this information upon request.

We will then provide a register of the personal data we have about you, what we use it for, where it comes from, which assistants it has been transferred to (if any) and how long the data will be stored. If you have contacted us via chat or similar, messages saved there will also be included.

However, we hope that you understand that this information takes time to compile, and do not request it unnecessarily. When requesting an extract, we will also need to ensure that it is indeed the right person requesting the information.

You also have the right to have your data corrected if it is incorrect, supplemented, and (if this data is no longer required for the above-mentioned reasons) restricted or deleted. This also applies if the data has been processed unlawfully or if a legal obligation requires it. You are welcome to contact us first if you believe this is the case - we will try to sort it out - but you also have the right to file a complaint with the competent supervisory authority in the country in which you reside.

If you receive direct marketing, you also have the right to opt out of this at any time, as well as anything else that concerns your personal data where consent is given voluntarily.
